Greetings from my new office window, where the neighbor’s leaf blower is ruining a perfectly good morning.

But this post isn’t about that; it’s about coming back to Baltimore food, coming back to baking, and coming back to the table of life in general after a long, confusing time away.

I plan to do things differently all the way around this time. This page will still never be monetized, and I will still always tell the truth.

This time I will have reviews of some products, some recipes, some pictures. As a person who used to write reviews for a living, I know how important a real opinion from someone who has used/tasted the product is. And that’s what I will give you.

Full disclosure: I get most of the things I review for free, as samples.

Full disclosure #2: I have told the people trying to send me products that I don’t promise a review, AND I won’t review their product if it’s awful.

So I will only post things I like/have used/would recommend highly (or sometimes recommend for certain things).

Maybe I will write a blog about food that you can read or not, as you see fit.

Maybe I will write about my own personal life, but I doubt it. Bits will seep in because that’s my style of writing, but I have other work that explains what I am and who I am (plus there is an “About Me” page for that).
